Kinda cool when you go into a small business and see everyone who is invested in its success! In my short time, the owner/ cook, family members, and line cook all in a few min of entering the establishment! Wasn't looking for a huge meal, but the smell hit me, and I said ok.... ribs, please, presented with this ginormous plater of ribs and fries. Then the line cook brought out a sample of the sholder they smoked for me to try. It was delicious, too. So if you are in the area and want some outstanding BBQ, this place has it... thanks for the meal. On a side note, everyone that was in there as customers, I think, knew each other as they were all joking and kidding. The feal here was really spectacular!

Omg, fantastic!!! The gyro is better than uncle nicks and Tom and Jerry's. If you love a good gyro, you have to go here. Plus the price is unheard of, a gyro and the best seasoned fries for under $11!!! The pita is soft, not hard or chewy either!
The food is great. Usually get the gyro plater. It is deff enough for 2 people. The burgers and ribs are a great choice too. The prices are about the same as anywhere else. Would deff get this over any fast food crap for about the same price. The service is good. They are friendly and respectful.
This is a real deal spot to eat!!! My wife loves the Rib tips !!! I jump down on the Double gyro Burger but you gotta have a big appetite for that!! I suggest a single first it's well worth the $$$$$!!! Great tasting Maxwell Polish and Nachos are cooked fresh with homade chips and you can get whatever meat you want!!! It's a must Stop!!! Love the place
This was the best gyro I have had in a long time. The meat was thick and perfectly seasoned. The onion rings were perfectly fried, and the cheese fries were delicious. The service was polite and patient. They have a huge menu here, and it was a little hard to choose what to try first. There is a little bit of a wait for your food, which I didn't see as an issue because everything is cooked fresh and hot. This restaurant is also very clean and has a great neighborhood feel. We will definitely be back!
The morning cashier is my favorite she's so sweet and kind, I had the rib tips, gyro and my daughter loves they're cheese fries. Overall best BBQ and gyros in Rockford to me. Also reasonable prices one of my favorite spots to get BBQ and gyro sandwich.
We just bought a house in Rockford and wanted to sit down for dinner. We are unfamiliar with all the local restaurants and thought that a gyro sounded yummy. This place was awesome. We all were stuffed, the dinner was affordable (4 people=$54 with tip), and the workers were very friendly. I liked the vibe there as they had a movie playing. It'll definitely be a place we go to when we are craving gyros. Thanks!!
